Selected from 155 educators across the state, this recognition honors outstanding teachers who are shaping the future of Arizona’s public schools through excellence, innovation, and dedication to students. As an Ambassador for Excellence, Emily will help represent and celebrate public education across Arizona alongside the other Top 5 finalists.
Emily’s selection as a finalist reflects the impact of her work and the care she brings to her students each day. We are proud to celebrate this well deserved recognition and congratulate her on this incredible honor. The 2027 Arizona Teacher of the Year will be announced this fall.
