Emily Meschter Early Learning Center has earned a Quality First 5-Star rating

We are proud to share that Emily Meschter Early Learning Center has earned a Quality First 5 Star rating, the highest level of recognition from Quality First, a program of First Things First.

First Things First partners with regulated child care and preschool providers through participation in Quality First to improve the quality of early learning across Arizona. Research has shown that children with access to high-quality early learning programs are better prepared for kindergarten, do better in school, and are more likely to graduate and go on to college.

Quality First participants work with a coach to implement quality improvement plans in areas that research shows help young kids thrive. After about one year of participation, programs are rated on a 5-star scale based on how well they meet quality standards.

After approximately one year of participation, programs are evaluated using a comprehensive 5-star rating system that measures how well they meet established quality standards. These standards focus on the areas that matter most for early development and kindergarten readiness.

At Emily Meschter Early Learning Center, this recognition reflects strengths in health and safety practices, skilled teachers who turn everyday moments into meaningful learning, rich and age-appropriate classroom environments, opportunities for hands-on exploration and active play, and warm teacher-child interactions that support language development, thinking, and social skills.

Earning a 5-star rating is a significant accomplishment and a testament to the dedication, care, and expertise of the Emily Meschter team.

We congratulate Emily Meschter Early Learning Center on this outstanding achievement and celebrate the positive impact they make for our youngest learners every day.
