Why is it important to get involved and make a difference in high school?

I think it's important to get involved and make a difference in high school because I want others to be inspired to create change in today's world. It's very important to me to have a lasting impact in high school and to be a part of the things that I am passionate about to prepare me for my future.

Who is a mentor or role model who inspire you & why?

My role model would have to be my older sister Gaby. I started high school with her and it was probably the best experience having her by my side to help me. I am so lucky to have her in my life because she has supported me through all of my major milestones. She has inspired me to be the outgoing and hardworking person I am today because she has accomplished so many rewarding opportunities that make me proud of her.

If you knew me better you’d know I…

absolutely love Marvel and Star Wars, they are my favorite movies to watch.

What are your dreams for your future?

My dreams for the future are to attend college and find something that I am passionate about to study. I also want to be able and come back to help my community as well as give back to the people who helped me get to where I am today.
What is the bravest thing you have ever done?

The bravest thing I have ever done is perform in front of the entire high school for the pep assemblies! They can be very nerve-wracking but make the time and effort put into the dances so worth it in the end.

What do you love about Flowing Wells?

I love Flowing Wells because I have been in the district all my life and the community has grown so much. Everyone is connected to one another, and so welcoming to anyone who is new. Growing up Flowing Wells has given me so many opportunities that I will forever be grateful for.

Who has been the most influential teacher in your career and why?

I have 2 influential teachers! Ms. Weigold, my 2nd-grade teacher, inspired me to be myself and make every day an exciting and fulfilling day. Ms. Brown, my dance coach, has inspired me to work hard for everything because she knows I can achieve my goals if I put my mind to them-she has been one of my biggest supporters through high school and I am so grateful to have her as my coach.
How long have you attended Flowing Wells?

I have attended Flowing Wells since kindergarten.

What legacy do you want to leave here at Flowing Wells?

The legacy I want to leave here at Flowing Wells is to believe in yourself as well as others. Flowing wells has so many opportunities for you to work in groups and getting the chance to have a support system helping you along your journey is one of the greatest experiences one could receive.
