Why is it important to get involved and make a difference in high school?

It's important to get involved and make a difference in high school because you're only here for 4 years. You get the chance to discover your passions, find out what you love, and also get to make an impact on communities/individuals as well!

Who is a mentor or role model who inspire you & why?

Some mentors that have inspired me are Ms. McArthur, Mrs. Bursuk, and Ariana Brown. These mentors have empowered me to become the best version of myself, both emotionally and physically. They transformed me from a hesitant student to a confident one, just by simply believing in me. Everything they said and did will continue with me throughout my entire life.

If you knew me better you’d know I…

am an empath, I wear my heart on my sleeve and enjoy welcoming and supporting people with open arms.

What are your dreams for your future?

In the future, I want to achieve my dream job as an Aesthetic Nurse after graduating from college. I aspire to live a productive life, but ultimately, my goal is to be happy in what I am doing!

What is the bravest thing you have ever done?

The bravest thing I've ever done was rebuild my life and transform myself into a better person. I used to be surrounded by negative influences, but instead I chose to focus on what's best for me.

What do you love about Flowing Wells?

I love Flowing Wells because they value each student. They're always committed to providing equal opportunities and making it an inclusive environment. Flowing Wells has developed positively in the past years, making it a great place to always want to be!

Who has been the most influential teacher in your career and why?

The most influential teacher in my career is Ariana Brown, who is also my Dance Coach. I could honestly go on and on about how amazing she is. I have had Brown for all four years of high school, and she was always there for me through the toughest and best time of my life. Her classroom became my escape from my problems and another home to come to. Brown taught me some tough lessons but everything she did was to help improve me. She helped me with my confidence and my skills and made me who I am to this day. I am forever grateful to her and I think her for the impact she has had on my life.

How long have you attended Flowing Wells?

I have attended Flowing Wells since Kindergarten.

What legacy do you want to leave here at Flowing Wells?

A legacy that I want to leave her at Flowing Wells is the dance program! I hope to inspire others to enjoy dancing as much as I did, and to see how it can help you be your best self!
